providers circle
Providers Circle is our inner circle of financial support. Providers Circle members develop a closer relationship with the organization, even a sense of “ownership.” We have special events each year for our Providers Circle members, and acknowledge them in other ways. Of note, 100% of our board are Providers Circle members. It is truly a board-led effort.
We invite anyone who is able to contribute at the $1,000 level to join Providers Circle. Quarterly or monthly payments can be arranged. We would be happy to talk with you personally to share more information.

memorial gifts
The loss of a loved one often puts family members “on-the-spot” to identify an appropriate charity for memorial gifts. By pre-selecting a charitable organization such as Housecall Providers, you can be assured your loved one will be remembered through quality and compassionate care to others in need. If someone you love has been helped by Housecall Providers, it is a special way to honor their memory and to say Thank You.

Why your gift is important
Life for our patients, particularly those without the support of family and friends, can be frightening as they become less able to care for themselves. While we are honored to be the only private non-profit primary care medical practice that makes house calls in the greater Portland metropolitan area, that distinction poses several challenges:
- There is a greater demand for our services than ever before and the need is far greater than our current ability to serve.
- Unfortunately insurance and healthcare financing does not currently begin to cover operating costs. For example, we expect to make well over 10,000 house calls this fiscal year; and since each visit costs Housecalls about $27.50 over and above reimbursement fees, we must raise more than $300,000 this fiscal year just to cover costs. We are also committed to turning no one away because of an inability to pay.
- House calls for homebound people are not simply a convenience or a luxury—they are critical in maintaining the lives and dignity of our at-risk patients. And while more expensive than an office visit, house calls are far less costly than visits to emergency rooms, hospitalization and nursing home care.
Please help by making a tax-deductible contribution today. Call 503-988-5303 or send your contribution directly to Housecall Providers, 4531 SE Belmont, Suite 250, Portland, OR 97215.
Leaving a legacy
Personal giving often follows being personally touched by a charity, such as Housecall Providers. But statistics show that many of us have not thought about making a charitable gift that will keep on giving long after we are gone.
By leaving a gift in your Will or Estate Plan, you can ensure that your assets gained in life will leave a legacy to help others after your death. And the tax benefits of your contribution will also benefit those who inherit your estate.
If you would like more information on how to include Housecall Providers in your Will or Estate Plan, check with your financial planner or call our office at 503 988-5303.
