Through the kindness of contributors, the Patient Assistance Fund (PAF) is able to not only provide access to medically necessary items and services for Housecall Providers patients, but also to offer once-in-a-lifetime experiences that would otherwise be totally inaccessible to the vulnerable people we serve.
The photo above depicts the granddaughter of a Housecall Providers hospice patient, who was flown to Portland by the PAF so that she could visit her grandmother, who she hadn’t seen in several years. Our patient had been on hospice for weeks and did not have much time left.
For our patient, who had been living for years without many visitors, and who has since passed away, the opportunity to visit with her beloved granddaughter was wonderful experience made possible through the generosity of people like you.
The beauty of the Patient Assistance Fund is that it allows the generosity of individuals to be directly channeled to those who need it most, meeting needs as they arise in efficient and effective ways.
