A Different Kind of Volunteer Experience

We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of a population that is frequently isolated and underserved. Our volunteers are an essential part of the services we provide to the community. There are many different ways you can contribute.

One-on-one patient connection

Our field-based volunteers are matched with patients who are seriously ill or homebound due to disability. By offering conversation, presence, emotional support and/or family impact in their lives, just as they will impact yours.

Music program volunteers

Research and create personalized music playlists for our patients. We also need help organizing our library, preparing iPods for deliver and tracking requests. Volunteers trained for patient care are needed to engage patients with music directly and assists caregivers in the use of music therapy.

Help in our office

Our administrative volunteers assist with all levels of office-related tasks, from envelope stuffing to chart review. We offer a warm and inviting atmosphere where your work will be appreciated and respected. Volunteers have flexible schedules, are involved in meaningful work and gain invaluable experience.

Other ways to help

If you have at least two hours per week to share with us, we’ll find a way to help you contribute in a way that makes a difference.

“There are many precious moments in our lives when we are given the opportunity to express, through our presence and actions, our kindness and compassion to others. For me, these moments arise with my volunteering through Housecall Providers. My hope, always, is that the patients I visit are uplifted, while deeply understanding that in my giving I am enriched, too.”

-Joseph Britton, Housecall Providers volunteer
