We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of a population that is frequently isolated and underserved. Our volunteers are an essential part of the services we provide to the community. There are many different ways you can contribute.
One on One Patient Connection
Our patient care volunteers are matched with those who are homebound due to illness or disability. Over the course of our comprehensive 16-hour training program, we will prepare you to make a positive impact by offering companionship, presence, music, family respite, and/or household assistance.
A visit from a friendly animal is truly medicinal. If you have a pet who is a certified therapy animal (or who is willing and able to become certified), our patients would be delighted to benefit from time with you and your furry friend.
Be part of a team that is changing healthcare. Our administrative volunteers assist with all levels of office-related tasks, from envelope stuffing to chart review. We offer a warm and inviting atmosphere where your time and contribution will be appreciated.
