Alzheimer’s and dementia

These sessions will provide foundational and advanced dementia and Alzheimer’s care training to help caregivers, families, and those living with these conditions understand what’s happening and why—empowering them with practical strategies and compassionate support.

Veteran-centric care

These trainings will teach how to foster an environment that honors Veterans’ service and experiences, and gain insight into physical and mental health conditions commonly associated with military service. The goal is to equip caregivers with strategies to provide informed, compassionate care tailored to Veterans’ unique needs.

Disease specific processes

These presentations will provide quick, focused education on common conditions and their disease process to help caregivers deliver informed, compassionate care. Each session is 15–20 minutes.

Hospice & end-of-life care trainings series

These sessions will prepare caregivers to provide compassionate, informed support for patients and families during life’s final stages. Presentations cover essential topics such as understanding hospice benefits, guiding goals-of-care conversations, recognizing the dying process, managing symptoms with medicinal and non-medicinal interventions, and addressing nonverbal signs. Caregivers will also learn strategies to support families and cope with compassion fatigue.
